Iambic Therapeutics raises $150 million in Nasdaq IPO

Iambic Therapeutics raised $150 million in an initial public offering on Oct.

14, 2026.

The US startup uses artificial intelligence to help discover and develop medicines.

It sold nearly 9.4 million shares at $16 each and was due to begin trading on Nasdaq under the ticker IAM the next day.

Since its launch in 2019, Iambic has raised $462 million from private investors.

Its lead candidate, an oral drug for HER2-positive cancers, is being tested in people; early Phase 1 results showed anti-tumor activity and an encouraging safety profile in patients whose cancers had not responded to several earlier treatments.

Iambic says a larger trial that could support approval may start as soon as 2027, while two other cancer drug candidates could enter testing next year.

The IPO gives Iambic more funding to advance its medicines, but AI-based drug companies have faced difficulties after going public, and claims about what the technology can deliver have drawn scrutiny.
