Max Müller will work fewer days on The Rosenheim-Cops
Max Müller will film about a third less for the German crime series The Rosenheim-Cops.
The Austrian actor has played police officer Michi Mohr since the show began in 2002.
He is cutting back to care for his 87-year-old mother, who lives in a care home near Vienna.
Müller said he is her only child and wants to be there for her.
He is staying in the series, rather than leaving the cast.
Colleague Pia Arnbruck will share Michi Mohr’s police work, with actor Katharina Plank playing the role.
Plank will step in when Müller is in Vienna, and is already known to viewers from earlier episodes.
