Galax launches $3,000 RTX 5080 with two alternative power connectors
Galax has launched its GeForce RTX 5080 HOF Extreme graphics card in China, priced at about $3,000.
It is the first known RTX 5080 with two 12V-2×6 power-connector locations.
The connectors are alternatives, not extra power inputs, so owners use only one and can choose the location that best fits their cable setup.
The card can draw up to 400 watts in OC mode, while Gaming mode lowers the limit to 360 watts.
It also has four fans and 13 Swarovski crystals, and Galax recommends a power supply rated at 850 watts or higher.
Galax has not confirmed availability elsewhere, so it is not yet known whether or when the card will reach other markets.
Galax has launched the GeForce RTX 5080 HOF Extreme in China for 19,999 yuan, approximately $2,995.
The card has two 12V-2×6 power connectors, but only one can be used at a time.
Owners can choose the connector position that better suits their system’s cable routing.
The card features a four-fan cooling system, 13 Swarovski crystals and a 400 W power limit in OC mode.
Galax has not confirmed availability in other markets.
