Roscoe included in Mexican Grand Prix Day of the Dead tribute

Mexican Grand Prix organisers honoured late Formula 1 figures with a Day of the Dead display at the Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez in Mexico City.

Roscoe, Lewis Hamilton’s bulldog who died in 2025, was included alongside racing figures such as Ayrton Senna and Enzo Ferrari.

The display used photographs, candles and orange marigolds, reflecting Mexico’s tradition of remembering the dead with decorated altars called ofrendas.

Roscoe was a familiar presence at races and in the paddock during Hamilton’s career.

Including him recognised pets as well as racing legends in a tradition where families may remember animals too.

The tribute appeared during the Mexican Grand Prix weekend, which coincided with Day of the Dead.

The race weekend continues in Brazil next week, before the season’s final triple-header in Las Vegas, Qatar and Abu Dhabi.
