Man detained after returning to Bad Saulgau pub and striking its door

Early on Saturday, a pub owner in Bad Saulgau called police after a customer refused to leave.

Police said the intoxicated 23-year-old ignored an order to leave and officers had to enforce it.

He returned a short time later and punched the pub's entrance door.

Officers detained him, and he resisted and had to be restrained.

He later tried to hurt himself and was admitted to hospital; nobody was injured.

Police opened an investigation into resisting officers.
