Google adds interactive visual lessons to Gemini

Google has added Immersive Explorations to Gemini, its AI assistant, to help people learn about complex subjects.

The feature presents 20 topics in interactive visual lessons, covering areas such as history, engineering, medicine and spaceflight.

Users can tap or zoom into parts of a scene to reveal more detail, with guided explanations that move from broad ideas to smaller ones.

It is available on mobile and the web in English, Indonesian, Hindi, Brazilian Portuguese, French and Simplified Chinese.

The library is currently limited to its listed topics, so users cannot create their own explorations.

Google says it plans to bring the feature into Gemini conversations and add audio narration.

The feature is already available to personal Google account and Workspace users, as well as eligible education-plan users.
