Sahibzada Farhan Sets T20I Series Record With 238 Runs

Pakistan captain Sahibzada Farhan scored a half-century in each of three T20Is against Sri Lanka.

The matches were played in Rawalpindi, Pakistan, and made up Farhan's first bilateral T20I series as captain.

He scored 89 in the first match, 73 in the second and 76 in the third.

His total of 238 runs set a record for a player from a Full Member nation in a three-match bilateral T20I series, passing India's Abhishek Sharma, who scored 229 against Afghanistan in September 2026.

Farhan became the first captain to make a half-century in all three matches of such a series.

Pakistan lost the third match by eight wickets, according to NDTV Sports.

The series is over, with Farhan's record the key outcome; the overall three-match series record remains 283 runs, scored by Spain's Mohammad Ihsan in 2025.
