Damien Comolli named Pisa president and CEO on a three-year deal

Pisa has appointed Damien Comolli as president and chief executive, giving him leadership of the Italian club.

Pisa plays in Serie B, Italy’s second-tier football league, and is majority-owned by Alexander Knaster.

Comolli, a French football executive, left his role at Juventus in June 2026 after a short spell as the club’s chief executive.

He has signed a three-year contract with Pisa.

Giuseppe and Giovanni Corrado, who led the club for ten years, are leaving their roles.

Comolli says he wants to help develop the club’s organisation and support plans for a new training centre, while his known use of data to assess players may shape recruitment.

Pisa is entering a new phase of growth, though the club has not outlined specific targets or a timetable.
