‘Mohra’ to return to cinemas in 4K on November 6, 2026

The 1994 Hindi action film ‘Mohra’ is returning to cinemas in a 4K remastered version on November 6, 2026.

The film stars Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty and Raveena Tandon, and was directed by Rajiv Rai.

It follows a prisoner seeking justice who becomes caught up in a powerful man’s plan, while an inspector investigates a series of killings.

‘Mohra’ will open one day after ‘Ramayana’, starring Ranbir Kapoor, Yash and Sai Pallavi, begins its cinema run on November 5.

The original was a major hit in 1994, and its soundtrack included popular songs such as “Tu Cheez Badi Hai Mast Mast” and “Tip Tip Barsa Paani.”

The competing release may limit screenings for ‘Mohra’, and one Agra cinema plans to show it in all four daily slots instead of screening ‘Ramayana’.

How the two films perform against each other remains to be seen.
