Reports link Turkish gang to Starlink station fire in Poland

A Starlink ground station in Wola Krobowska, Poland, caught fire on September 23, and Polish authorities called it deliberate sabotage.

Polish officials blame Russia, but have not publicly presented evidence of a Russian role.

Reports say Russian intelligence may have hired members or supporters of the Turkish Daltons gang to carry out the attack.

Two Turkish men, aged 34 and 38, were arrested in Germany at Poland’s request and are suspected of involvement.

The Daltons have been linked to serious crimes in Turkey and other European countries, including extortion and arms trafficking.

If the gang’s involvement is confirmed, it could signal a shift toward using organised crime for sabotage instead of relying mainly on individuals recruited for small payments.

A court in Stuttgart is expected to decide whether to extradite the men to Poland; their involvement and any Russian direction remain unproven.
