Celtic draw 2-2 with Dundee United and miss chance to extend lead

Celtic drew 2-2 with Dundee United at Celtic Park in the Scottish Premiership.

Camilo Duran put the hosts ahead, but Zac Sapsford and Neil Farrugia scored twice in three minutes to give United a half-time lead.

Liam Scales headed in the equaliser after Jota came on at the break.

The draw denied Celtic a chance to go six points clear at the top; they remain four points ahead of Rangers, who also drew.

Celtic manager Martin O'Neill said his team must keep possession better and control matches for longer.

He also said Jota needs more time before he is ready to start games again.

Dundee United left with a point after leading for much of the match, though manager Jim Goodwin said his side were disappointed not to hold on for a win.
