Movida’s third-quarter profit rises 117% to R$152.1 million

Brazilian car rental company Movida earned R$152.1 million in the third quarter of 2026, up 117.4% from the same period a year earlier.

Its revenue increased 2.8% to R$3.87 billion, while consolidated EBITDA rose 21.4% to R$1.795 billion.

The company said growth came from service pricing, a larger market share and cost control.

Movida has also started doing more vehicle maintenance at its own facilities, rather than relying only on outside workshops.

Its net debt reached R$17.5 billion, but debt compared with EBITDA improved to 2.56 times, from 2.74 times a year earlier.

CEO Gustavo Moscatelli said the company plans to expand its maintenance stops from 11 to more than 50 next year.
