Leclerc and Hamilton agree to avoid risky moves at US Grand Prix start
Ferrari team-mates Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton will start fourth and fifth at the United States Grand Prix in Austin.
They will line up close together for the first run to Turn 1 at the Circuit of the Americas.
The pair know where not to cross the line and Leclerc says neither plans an aggressive move against the other at the start.
They have made contact and overstepped during the season, including at Monza, where they collided on the opening lap.
Hamilton fell from fourth to tenth before recovering to sixth, while Leclerc crashed out on lap two.
The clash raised concerns about how the Ferrari drivers race each other, and Leclerc said they do not want to repeat it.
They aim to stay clear of each other during the race, though no specific team rules were announced.

What people are saying
No, we know what is the line not to cross, and again I think we’ve got some occasions throughout the year where I’ve crossed it, Lewis crossed it and we don’t want to see that.
I mean it’s always important. I don’t think on a track like this there’s anything like Singapore like that you can do with slowing down and all the team or whatsoever, but obviously just stay away from each other is always a good thing no matter where we are.
Here, there are no rules. We need to address that.
