National lifelong learning festival opens in Cheonan

Cheonan opened the third National Lifelong Learning Cities Festival on October 23 at the Cheonan Museum in South Korea.

The event, run with the National Association of Lifelong Learning Cities, brings together city leaders and education officials to share policies and experience.

A forum and awards will highlight local policies and discuss ways to develop them.

Cheonan will present its AI lifelong learning policies, under a theme about connecting daily life through learning and artificial intelligence.

Cheonan was designated a lifelong learning city in 2007 and says it has expanded opportunities for residents to keep learning.

A separate city learning festival is scheduled for October 24 at Cheonan Samgeori Park and the Cheonan Heungtaryeong Hall area, while the national event runs through that day.
