Katrina Kaif rejects pressure to regain her pre-pregnancy body

Katrina Kaif has pushed back against postpartum body-shaming after online criticism of her appearance.

The comments followed her September appearance with husband Vicky Kaushal at the Ambani family’s Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations in Mumbai.

Katrina and Vicky welcomed their son, Vihaan, in November 2025.

She questioned the expectation that women should quickly return to their pre-pregnancy bodies, saying motherhood is a step forward, not something she wants to go back from.

She said she is aware of her fitness goals and will reach them at her own pace.

Her response has renewed discussion about body-image pressure on women, including public figures.

Katrina also said she is learning to balance acting, running her beauty brand, Kay Beauty, and family life.
