Orry says Sara Ali Khan did not support him during a difficult time
Social media personality Orhan Awatramani, known as Orry, says his longtime friendship with actor Sara Ali Khan has broken down.
In an interview on Neha Dhupia and Angad Bedi’s show Double Date, he said they had been friends since childhood, through college and for years afterward.
Orry claims he stood by Sara during a difficult period involving a case in Goa, but she did not contact him when he faced a hard time.
He also says Sara’s mother, Amrita Singh, scolded him and that he says no apology ever followed.
The disagreement became public in 2025 after Orry posted birthday photos of Sara that some social media users considered unflattering, then named Sara, Amrita and Palak in a reel.
Sara and her brother Ibrahim later unfollowed Orry, and Orry says an apology could affect whether he and Sara reconcile.
Orry said Sara Ali Khan did not support him during a difficult period, despite his having stood by her in the past.
