Dutch family bakery raises wholegrain loaf price to €3.50
A family bakery in the Dutch village of Wanroij charges €3.50 for a wholegrain loaf.
It cost €1.98 in 2010.
The owners say ingredients, packaging, transport and staff costs have risen, and they fear higher gas bills.
Rising prices are also pushing some customers toward supermarkets and discount stores.
