Ajax and Feyenoord reportedly consider bids for Orbelín Pineda
Ajax and Feyenoord are interested in Orbelín Pineda, a 30-year-old attacking midfielder at Mexican club CF Monterrey.
Mexican journalist Willie González says both Dutch clubs have spoken with Pineda’s agent and that one has told Monterrey a bid is coming.
The reported offer could arrive in the winter, but neither club nor Monterrey has confirmed a bid.
Pineda only returned to Mexico this summer, when Monterrey signed him from Greek side AEK Athens for about €8 million.
He had won the Greek league with AEK and was named Greece’s Player of the Year last season.
