McDonald’s to Host Free Chef’s Table Event in New York City

McDonald’s is hosting a free chef’s table in New York City on October 29, giving guests a closer look at how some of its popular foods are prepared.

The one-day event, called Inside the Golden Arches, is led by Top Chef Season 22 winner Tristen Epps-Long, who previously worked at McDonald’s.

Guests will hear from chefs and company experts about the Quarter Pounder with Cheese, Egg McMuffin, Chicken McNuggets and fries.

The event is McDonald’s first chef’s table experience, and the company says it aims to show customers more about its ingredients and food preparation.

Reservations are required, are limited and allow up to two seats per booking; the venue has not been announced.

From November 2, a $8 Quarter Pounder meal with medium fries and a drink is planned at participating McDonald’s restaurants nationwide for a limited time.
