Porsche's nine-month net profit rose 16-fold to €1.815 billion
Porsche's net profit rose 16-fold in the first nine months of 2026, reaching €1.815 billion.
The figures cover January to September and were announced by the German luxury carmaker on October 27.
The comparison reflects a large loss booked a year earlier as Porsche reviewed its electric-vehicle strategy.
Operating profit also rose sharply, to €1.735 billion, while its operating margin reached 6.9%.
That margin was 6.7 percentage points higher than in the same period last year.
Much of the increase came from last year's unusual losses, so the jump does not necessarily show the scale of improvement in Porsche's underlying business.
Porsche reported net profit of €1.815 billion for January to September 2026, 16 times the amount in the same period a year earlier.
The German luxury carmaker said the increase largely reflected a large loss recorded a year earlier as it reviewed its electric-vehicle strategy.
Operating profit rose 43-fold to €1.735 billion.
The operating margin increased by 6.7 percentage points year on year to 6.9%.
