Hana Financial opens digital job-training classroom for students with disabilities

Hana Financial opened a digital career classroom at Milal School in Seoul on October 27 for students with developmental disabilities.

The classroom is designed to let students practise work skills in settings that resemble real jobs.

Digital tools let students practise restaurant and café tasks, including taking orders, serving customers and handling payments.

The equipment includes a talking robot, virtual-reality training devices, learning kiosks and payment terminals.

The program will expand to three special schools by the first half of next year, with additional schools in Incheon and Daejeon.

The company will also offer special-school staff counselling, stress-management training and professional development.

The classes aim to help students explore careers and build skills they can use in future workplaces.
