Turkish EV maker Ortimobil expands its sales network

Ortimobil makes electric vehicles in Mersin, Turkey, for both passenger use and services such as health care, tourism and military facilities.

Its range includes two-, four- and six-seat vehicles, as well as cargo carriers, ambulances and minivans.

Its O-Mobil and Alexa models are designed for city driving: the O-Mobil has a top speed of 88 km/h and two stated range options, while the Alexa can travel about 100 kilometres on a charge.

Ortimobil says higher fuel costs are drawing attention to electric vehicles’ running costs, including the possibility of home charging and fewer routine maintenance items.

The company has sales points in cities including Istanbul, Samsun, Kayseri and Mersin, and says its network is expanding across Turkey.

Ortimobil says it is close to its 2026 sales target and plans to keep growing its product range and sales network.
