FC Seoul Draws 0-0 With Gangwon, Delaying K League 1 Title Decision

FC Seoul and Gangwon FC drew 0-0 in the K League 1 regular-season finale at Seoul World Cup Stadium on October 24.

Seoul entered the match with 66 points, 16 ahead of second-place Ulsan HD.

A win would have secured the title for Seoul, regardless of the five remaining playoff-round matches.

The draw meant Seoul did not clinch the title by winning, but it could still be crowned if Ulsan lost to Pohang Steelers in a match played at the same time.

Seoul is seeking its first league title since 2016 and its seventh overall, including its predecessor club.

The championship decision now depends on Ulsan’s result, while the five-match final round remains to come.
