Anika Rashaun, ‘The Real World’ and ‘The Challenge’ Alum, Dies at 34

Anika Rashaun died on October 1 at age 34 after being diagnosed with stage IV breast cancer in 2025.

She appeared on MTV’s The Real World: Bad Blood and The Challenge: Invasion of the Champions in 2016 and 2017.

After her TV appearances, the New York City native worked as a matchmaker and dating coach.

Her friend Tiara Ramos said Rashaun’s diagnosis came as a shock and that doctors had not identified her as high-risk despite her mother’s earlier breast cancer.

Ramos also described this as one of the failures Rashaun faced in the medical system, bringing attention to her experience during treatment.

Rashaun married Kyle Rehn in February and is survived by him, her parents and her brother.

I’ve genuinely been sad as hell since hearing you passed. I’m sad I didn’t get to see you one last time. But the last time and conversation we had with each other I can cherish and play it back in my mind to smile.
