Shahid Kapoor recalls seven-hour first meeting with Mira Rajput

Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput recalled their early relationship on The Great Indian Kapil Show, alongside Ishaan Khatter.

Their first conversation lasted seven hours, though Mira said she was puzzled when Shahid asked her to photograph his glow-in-the-dark shoes.

Shahid said the shoes helped hide them from paparazzi flashes when they were spotted together.

He was 34 and Mira was 20 when they first met.

When Shahid visited Mira’s family home in Delhi while filming Udta Punjab, he had green hair for his role as Tommy Singh, and said her father froze at the sight.

Mira later felt stressed watching Shahid’s performance in the film, wondering who she had married.

The couple also discussed their relationship and film memories on the television show.
