Panvel profit rises 35.4% as digital sales more than double

Brazilian pharmacy group Panvel reported adjusted profit of R$46.4 million in the third quarter, up 35.4% from the same period a year earlier.

Its gross revenue reached R$1.7 billion, a 15.3% increase.

Digital sales grew 104% and accounted for 46.6% of retail revenue, with most digital purchases made through the app.

Chief financial officer Antonio Napp said Panvel is linking its app and physical stores, including by offering deliveries in 15 to 30 minutes.

The company also reported that sales of GLP-1 weight-loss products rose 68.8% and exceeded 11% of its retail sales.

Panvel aims to double in size by 2030, under a plan set out earlier in 2026.

Napp expects the GLP-1 market to expand in 2027 as new products, including oral versions, arrive.
