Argentine actor Antonio Grimau died at 82 after being hospitalized with diffuse interstitial lung disease.
The six-decade career spanned theatre, film and television.
Grimau was born Antonio Rebolini and began his professional career at 16.
Family, friends and fellow performers gathered in Buenos Aires for his wake on Tuesday, October 20.
The Multiteatro theatre and actor Raúl Lavié paid tribute to Grimau, who had performed with Lavié in the play Vamo’ los pibes.
His cremation is planned for Wednesday, October 21, at the Chacarita cemetery in Buenos Aires.
