Motorola's Moto One reappears in listings with flagship-level hardware

Motorola appears to be preparing a new Moto One, a name last used for phones in its One series.

The phone has appeared in certification and benchmark listings, but Motorola has not announced it.

Geekbench listings show a Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chip and 12GB of RAM, alongside Android 16.

The phone scored 2,109 in a single-core test and 8,586 in a multi-core test.

Certification confirms support for 15W Qi wireless charging; one listing identifies Extended Power Profile, so magnetic accessories may need a compatible case.

The One series began in 2018 with a focus on a cleaner Android experience through Google's Android One program, before its branding disappeared.

The listings suggest a capable return for the series, but Motorola has not shared a launch date or further details about the phone.
