Orelsan targets France’s far right and CNews in new song

French rapper Orelsan previewed a new song in Bordeaux during a concert on October 27.

The track takes aim at France’s far right and TV channel CNews, which is owned by Vincent Bolloré.

In lyrics shared by fans, Orelsan says he does not want far-right supporters to listen and describes himself as the opposite of CNews.

The song also mocks ideas about French identity and refers to family gatherings.

Orelsan has challenged the far right in earlier songs, including a 2022 track that criticized the “great replacement” theory.

The new song was scheduled to reach streaming platforms at midnight on October 29.

His tour continues, with 15 concerts planned at Paris’s Accor Arena from December 9 to 28.

They want to eat pork and sing Sardou at our family gatherings. Except we don't dress up as parodies of French people and we're not filthy racists.
