Boost Mobile names Mike Tyson the face of its new US campaign
Boost Mobile has made Mike Tyson the face of a new US ad campaign called “What’s Your Plan?”.
The campaign uses Tyson’s well-known line about plans being disrupted to criticize hidden fees, sudden price increases and long contracts.
Boost, owned by EchoStar, says it offers no-contract service, including a $25 monthly unlimited plan that it says will stay at that price.
The campaign promotes Boost’s no-contract plans as an alternative to traditional prepaid carriers.
The partnership also extends beyond advertising: Boost will sponsor the Mike Tyson Invitational on October 24 and future events in 2027.
The sponsorship will support young athletes with travel, education programs and competition facilities.
Boost also plans local events across the US, and says its 12 Days of Boostmas sweepstakes will return, though prize details have not been announced.
