A24 Releases First Trailer for Jeremy Saulnier’s Slayground
A24 has released the first trailer for Slayground, a thriller set around a haunted attraction.
Jeremy Saulnier, who directed Rebel Ridge and Green Room, wrote and directed the film.
The story begins after several people are found dead at the attraction, where scare actor Metal Mike Graves wakes with no memory of what happened.
A manhunt closes in on him, and the film’s descriptions differ on his situation: one says he is a suspected killer, while another identifies him as a recently escaped convict hiding at the haunt.
The trailer keeps much of the mystery about what happened unresolved.
Cory Michael Smith leads a cast that includes Chase Sui Wonders and Sophie Wilde, with Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross composing the score.
Slayground is scheduled to open in theaters on Jan.
29, 2027.
