Vinicius receives four-match ban and will miss Barcelona match
Spain’s football disciplinary committee suspended Real Madrid forward Vinicius for four matches after he was sent off against Villarreal.
The incident happened on Saturday during a league game at Real Madrid’s Bernabéu stadium.
Two matches are for pulling an opponent’s hair when the ball was not being contested, and two are for his protests after the red card.
The ban rules him out of the October 25 clásico against Barcelona at Camp Nou, as well as league games against Sevilla, Racing de Santander and Valencia.
The decision follows a video review that led the referee to cancel a Real Madrid goal and send Vinicius off.
Real Madrid plans to appeal the suspension in an effort to reduce it.
Unless the appeal succeeds, Vinicius is not expected to return to league action until after the November international break.

What people are saying
You should ask the Committee why it hasn’t done it this morning or tomorrow morning, why they do it two hours before a match that is important for Real Madrid, which is a Spanish team.
Now with Vinicius, well, that’s war.
I can’t imagine something like this happening at Barça.
