Welspun wins $580 million US pipeline order tied to data centre
India's Welspun Corp won a roughly ₹5,500 crore US pipeline order from a major midstream company.
Its US subsidiary, Welspun Tubular LLC, will supply coated line pipes for a natural gas pipeline in the Permian region.
The pipeline is intended to serve a data centre complex run by one of the world's top-tier hyperscalers, but the customer was not named.
The deal takes Welspun's global order book to a record $5.25 billion, or about ₹50,000 crore.
It links the company's pipeline business to demand for energy infrastructure as data centres expand to support AI.
Welspun plans to execute the order at its US facility in FY29.
