Aina unveils a smart ring designed to control AI agents and apps

Aina has unveiled a smart ring for controlling AI agents and everyday apps.

The device has a small screen, joystick, microphone and speaker, and connects to Macs or iPhones.

Users can speak prompts, take notes, view notifications and take calls without relying only on a phone or laptop screen.

The ring can also control music and smart home devices, and its screen can confirm whether an action went through.

Aina is pitching it as a quicker way to approve tasks suggested by AI agents, rather than as a health-tracking ring.

The company builds on an earlier three-button controller whose controls changed depending on the app being used.

Preorders are priced at $399 for a limited time, then $499, with shipping planned for January 2027.
