Tyler Reddick Says NASCAR’s Growing Workload Follows Him Home

On the Dale Jr. Download podcast, Tyler Reddick said NASCAR drivers do more work away from the track than they used to.

The No.

45 23XI Racing driver said preparation and other racing duties fill much of the week, including when he is at home.

That workload leaves less time for family, while the family is already apart on race weekends.

Reddick said a poor run of results can add pressure because he is home but still occupied by racing.

After winning five of the first nine Cup races in 2026, he went 23 races without a win before ending the drought with a Phoenix victory.

He is seventh in the Chase standings, 56 points behind leader Kyle Larson, and the Cup field races at Talladega next.
