Lily James and Co-Stars Attend The Liberation Premiere in London
The Liberation premiered at the BFI London Film Festival in London on October 10.
Lily James attended with co-stars Bella Ramsey, Carrie Coon and Odessa Young, as well as writer-director Guy Nattiv.
James plays Ricki, who enters the life of Rita, a bank teller, wife and mother portrayed by Coon.
Rita is a Holocaust survivor living with deep trauma.
Her connection with Ricki gives her room to heal, but may come at a cost to her family.
The film’s story centres on trauma, healing and the effects of Rita’s choices on those close to her.
Lily James and her co-stars attended the premiere of The Liberation in London.
The premiere took place at Vue West End on Saturday, October 10, during the 2026 BFI London Film Festival.
James wore a white off-the-shoulder velvet dress, according to Just Jared.
Bella Ramsey, Carrie Coon and Odessa Young also attended, along with writer-director Guy Nattiv.
The film stars Coon as a Holocaust survivor who finds space to heal after meeting Ricki, played by James.
