Taylor Swift Becomes Youngest-Ever Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame Member

Taylor Swift became the youngest-ever member of the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame at a gala in Nashville on Monday night.

Brad Paisley formally inducted her at the ceremony, where Swift said the honor felt extraordinary.

She was one of six inductees this year, alongside Lyle Lovett, Lee Thomas Miller, Shawn Camp, Bruce Channel and J.I. Allison, who was inducted posthumously.

The Hall of Fame has recognized songwriters since 1970, making the induction part of a long-running Nashville tradition.

Swift has also received other songwriting honors, including becoming the youngest woman inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame in New York in June.

The induction highlights her ties to Nashville, where she says the people who shaped her as an artist and writer helped form her country roots.
