More Than 1,500 Join Palestine Solidarity Run in Indonesia

More than 1,500 people joined a Palestine solidarity run in Bogor, West Java, on November 8.

The event was organized by the Aqsa Working Group, which is holding activities across Indonesia during November.

Palestinian Ambassador to Indonesia Abdulfattah Al-Sattari ran about 10 kilometers with participants.

He said the event showed support for Palestinians across Indonesian society.

Organizers said the run aimed to promote fitness so supporters could continue their advocacy.

The run was part of the Month of Solidarity for Palestine, which also includes a summit, a journalism discussion and other events.

The program is due to end with a long march to Jakarta’s Istiqlal Mosque on November 28–29.
