In the third quarter, it plans a cash dividend of 20,000 won per share and a 20 trillion won share purchase.
Of that purchase, 10 trillion won worth of shares will be canceled; the rest is for employee compensation and is not counted as shareholder returns.
The dividend combines 10,000 won tied to improved results with a 10,000 won special payment from profits on the sale of its Kioxia stake.
The dividend record date is November 30, with payment planned within a month after that date.
