Richmond will not offer Steely Green and Oliver Hayes-Brown contracts for 2027, ending their time on the club’s Australian rules football list.
Green, 22, joined Richmond through the 2022 draft and played 45 senior games, including 20 this season.
Hayes-Brown came to the club from basketball as a Category B rookie in 2023 and played seven AFL games.
The 208cm ruckman spent much of his time developing in the VFL before making his senior debut in 2026.
The decisions are part of Richmond’s changes to its playing list ahead of the next season.
Richmond has also yet to confirm the futures of Hugo Ralphsmith, Judson Clarke and Tom Burton, while two draft picks are expected to bring in prospects next month.
