Gazir to attempt 200 freestyle rap battles in 12 hours
Spanish freestyler Gazir will attempt 200 rap battles in 12 hours at an event in Gijón on November 7.
Freestyle battles are contests in which rappers improvise their lyrics rather than perform prepared material.
He could face as many as 250 opponents, including well-known competitors such as Aczino, Bnet and Mecha.
The challenge includes 150 one-on-one battles and 50 battles in which Gazir faces two opponents at once.
He has a limit of 10 losses, and the event will end if he reaches it.
He will have only four minutes to recover after every 40 battles, making stamina and concentration central to the attempt.
Organizers will publish the full competitor list on October 27, and fans can vote for the final opponent; the event will be free to attend while space allows and streamed on Red Bull Batalla's official channels.
