Deloitte Private recognises 70 Italian companies for management
Deloitte Private recognised 70 Italian companies in the ninth edition of its Best Managed Companies awards, held in Milan on October 29.
The award assesses businesses on areas including strategy, innovation, governance, social responsibility, internationalisation and cybersecurity.
The companies are continuing to invest despite geopolitical tensions and economic difficulties.
91% have begun a strategic technology transformation, while 84% consider cybersecurity a strategic priority.
Nine in ten have assigned responsibility for cyber risks to a company role or team, and 83% regularly train employees about cyber threats.
64% expect their own business to improve over the next 12 months, but only 30% expect growth in their sector and 14% expect Italy’s economy to improve.

The companies were more optimistic about their own prospects than about Italy’s economy: 64% expected their business to improve, while 14% expected the national economy to improve.
