Zorlu Enerji to Sell Its Electrip Stake for $147.6 Million

Zorlu Enerji agreed to sell its entire stake in Electrip Global, ending its ownership in the electric-vehicle charging company.

The stake is 41.28%, and Wren House Infrastructure and Kuwait Investment Authority will pay about $147.6 million.

Electrip is linked to Zorlu Energy Solutions, or ZES, a charging network serving drivers across Türkiye.

ZES operates in all 81 provinces, with more than 1,800 charging locations and over 5,000 charging sockets; the sale does not mean its stations will close.

Zorlu Enerji says it will use the proceeds for new investment spending and to repay some financial obligations.

The deal is expected to close on October 22, 2026, after which Zorlu Enerji's stake in Electrip will fall to zero.
