Eight MLS teams can clinch playoff places on Wednesday

Eight teams can clinch 2026 MLS Cup playoff places on Wednesday during Matchday 30.

They include defending champions Inter Miami, along with Chicago Fire, New England Revolution, Charlotte FC, St. Louis City, FC Dallas, San Jose Earthquakes and Houston Dynamo.

Each team needs a win, results elsewhere, or a combination of both to secure a place.

For example, Miami qualify with a win over New York City FC, while some other teams need rivals to drop points.

Nashville SC and the Vancouver Whitecaps have already clinched playoff berths.

Nashville can also secure the Eastern Conference's No.

1 seed if specified results go their way.

The matches take place across Wednesday, with kickoff times ranging from 7:30 p.m.

to 10:30 p.m.
