Depok LRT bus route to start charging fares in 2027
Depok plans to charge fares on its BisKita route to LRT Harjamukti from 2027.
Mayor Supian Suri said funding for free rides on the Terminal Depok–Harjamukti route will be shifted to a planned Bojong Sari–Terminal Depok route.
The city says it is covering Rp19 billion in operating costs for 2026, and paying to make two routes free would be difficult.
From 2027, the general fare, including for university students, will be Rp6,000 per ride.
School students and people aged 60 or older will pay a reduced fare of Rp4,000.
The city is preparing the new route while the existing route begins charging passengers.
BisKita Trans Depok buses between Depok Terminal and Harjamukti LRT Station will stop being free in 2027.
Depok Mayor Supian Suri said the route will begin charging fares early next year.
The free-service budget will be redirected to the Bojong Sari–Depok Terminal corridor.

What people are saying
If it is still free today, early next year it will be paid, because the budget for the free service will be redirected to corridor 2, the Bojong Sari–Depok Terminal route.
If both routes operate and both are free, it will be difficult for us to cover this.
