18-year-old and two officers injured in incident on A92 near Wallersdorf

An 18-year-old was found on the A92 near Wallersdorf in Bavaria on Friday afternoon, between the Wallersdorf-Nord and Wallersdorf-West exits.

Police said she was in a mental health crisis and was heavily intoxicated.

When officers from the Wörth an der Isar motorway police tried to help her, she attacked them and resisted.

The woman and both officers suffered minor injuries.

Traffic towards Munich was briefly stopped so she could be moved safely from the central reservation, and she was taken by ambulance to a specialist clinic.

Police said she faces several complaints, including suspected assault on officers.
