Two suspected burglars arrested after tip-off in Ibach

A resident alerted police to two men with a flashlight shortly after midnight in Ibach, in Switzerland's canton of Schwyz.

Officers went to a nearby business and found a smashed window.

Two people ran when they saw police, and officers arrested one nearby.

A police dog and handler from the neighboring canton of Lucerne tracked down the second suspect.

Police said the two suspected burglars are French nationals aged 17 and 18.

The Schwyz cantonal police and the canton’s public prosecutor have opened an investigation.
