Tesla Says 75% of North American Deliveries Included FSD

Tesla says 75% of its North American deliveries last quarter included Full Self-Driving, its driver-assistance software.

The share was up from 55% in the previous quarter, and Tesla says it has 1.74 million FSD subscribers worldwide, including people who bought it outright.

The company says more than half of those subscribers pay $99 a month, amounting to about 875,000 monthly subscribers.

Tesla links interest in the software to its largest vehicle order backlog in four years, making FSD an important part of its business strategy.

The software is still called “Supervised,” and Tesla has not said how long subscribers keep paying.

Tesla says it aims to offer unsupervised FSD by next summer in approved markets and compatible cars, and to add customer vehicles to its robotaxi network around then.
