Harmanpreet Kaur finds form with two big scores against Zimbabwe

Harmanpreet Kaur scored 91 and 126 against Zimbabwe after a prolonged spell of low scores.

The former India captain made the 91 in a T20I in Raipur, then scored 126 at the BCA Stadium in Kotambi six days later.

Three batting sessions a day helped her regain touch, she said.

Kaur had recently given up the captaincy she held for more than a decade, and her place in the changing team was under pressure because of her form.

Her coach Himanshu Chawla worked with her on confidence and intent, as well as small details of her batting technique.

Chawla says a strong bond helped him coach her through a difficult period.

The two scores offer a sign of renewed form, but the sources do not say what comes next for Kaur.
