MotoGP riders to demonstrate bikes at F1 United States Grand Prix

Four MotoGP riders will demonstrate their bikes during the United States Formula 1 Grand Prix weekend in Austin, Texas.

The 20-minute run is scheduled for Saturday before the third F1 practice session, at the Circuit of the Americas.

The riders are Dani Pedrosa, Andrea Dovizioso, Nicolo Bulega and Lorenzo Savadori; they are test riders or, in Bulega's case, a rider set to join MotoGP in 2027.

The demonstration aims to introduce MotoGP to F1's large American audience, with more than 400,000 spectators expected over the weekend.

The timing coincides with MotoGP's Australian Grand Prix at Phillip Island, so its current race riders cannot take part.

Liberty Media owns both championships, and the event is part of efforts to build interest in MotoGP in the United States.

MotoGP will also display the bikes in the circuit's Fan Zone, with riders scheduled to appear from Thursday to Sunday.

The demonstration comes ahead of MotoGP's return to the same circuit for the United States Grand Prix on April 23–25, 2027.

The speed, sound and performance of these bikes are something that has to be experienced in person, and I'm really looking forward to sharing that experience with everyone in Austin
